eVestment's Top Hedge Funds In April
Our monthly peek into the clicking habits of eVestment's asset owner and investment consultant clients sees Segantii Capital's Asia-Pacific Equity Multi-Strategy Fund win out in April - the fund had the highest number of views of all hedge funds in eVestment's universe.
Pharo Management's GAIA fund came in second place and AQR's Delta Strategy came third.
The top ten most viewed funds on the eVestment platform in April were:
At the investment manager level, Bridgewater won for the third month this year, and second consecutive. It also won in January and March. In April, however, its Optimal Portfolio Fund was viewed more times than Bridgewater's other products; in January it was the firm's Pure Alpha Strategy and in March it was the All-Weather 12% fund. Graham Capital came second - its Quant Macro portfolio was its most viewed product - and Pharo Management came third, with its Gaia Fund.

At the strategy level, Fundamental long/short equity took home the honours, for the fourth consecutive month. This time, however, Prosight Capital's Prosight Fund was the most viewed long/short equity product. AQR's Delta Strategy was the most viewed product in the multi-strategy multi-market category, which was the second most viewed category, and Dymon Asia Capital's Dymon Asia Macro Master Fund was the most viewed fund in the Macro-Discretionary cagtegory, the third most viewed strategy.

Sengantii Capital's Asia-Pacific Equity Multi-Strat fund was also the biggest mover vs. the average of the previous 6 months. Brigade Capital's Leveraged Capital Structures fund was the second biggest mover, and Dymon Asia's Macro Master Fund third.
Firm-wise, Segantii Capital, Graham Capital and Dymon Asia Capital took the top three spots.
