eVestment's Top Hedge Funds In May 2021
Select Equity Group's Cooper Square Fund was the most viewed hedge fund product on the eVestment platform last month, moving up one spot from April. Perennial top 10 resident 1060 Capital Management's 1060 Capital Opportunity Fund was second, down from first in April, and Nordea Asset Management's Alpha 15 MA Strategy was third, a new entry this month.

At the regional level, Cooper Square Fund was viewed most by U.S.-based eVestment subscribers and 1060 Capital Opportunity Fund was viewed most by Japan-based subscribers; QMA Wadhwani's Keynes Dynamic Beta Strategy and Gladstone Capital Management's Lasker Master Fund were viewed most in the United Kingdom, Sculptor Capital Management's Sculptor Master Fund and SummerHvane Investment Management's SummerHaven Commodity Fund tied for first place in Europe ex-U.K., Cortland Credit Group's Cortland Credit Strategies L.P. and Connor, Clark & Lunn's CC&L Infrastructure Strategy tied for top spot in Canada and Asia ex-Japan had a three-way tie between Autonomy Capital's Autonomy Master Fund and two products from BlackRock, BlackRock Credit Alpha and BlackRock Global Absolute Return Bond Fund.
At the firm level, Bridgewater Associates returned to the top spot after not featuring on the leaderboard at all in April, followed by Graham Capital Management, another new entry vs last month, and Select Equity Group, which fell one spot from second in April.

Regionally, there were wins for Select Equity Group in United States, Graham Capital in Europe ex-UK, 1060 Capital in Japan, BlackRock in Asia ex-Japan, CIBC Asset Management in Canada and Capital Fund Management in United Kingdom.
Product level rising interest - i.e. the products which had the greatest absolute increase in the proportion of views they received in the current month versus the proportion of views they received in the prior 12 months as a whole - saw Nordea Asset Management's Alpha 15 MA Strategy take the top spot, followed by Alcentra's Structured Credit Opportunity Fund II, both new entries. Cooper Square Fund was third.
