Sharing Alpha September 2017 Update

Sharing Alpha, the Fund Ratings platform, recently published its fund review data for September. Sharing Alpha’s community of more than 700 fund buyers from 52 countries rates funds and firms on 3 headline criteria: people, price and portfolio. Within each category there is a further drill down.

September’s most ‘Highly Rated funds’, which shows the average score (out of 5) which individual funds have received from fund buyers;

1 - True Value FI

2 - Liontrust Special Situations Fund

3 - PIMCO GIS Global Bond Fund

4 - Nordea 1 – European High Yield Bond Fund II

5 - Bestinver Internacional FI

September’s ‘Most popular’ funds, which ranks funds based on the number of allocations that fund has received from different fund buyers (not the total assets) are:

1 - Fundsmith Equity

2 - Old Mutual Global Equity Absolute Return

3 - Nordea 1 - Stable Return Fund

4 - M&G Optimal Income Fund

5 - Allianz Europe Equity Growth

And finally, September’s most ‘Highly rated providers’, which ranks the fund management company based on their average score (out of 5) by the fund raters are:

1 - GAM

2 - Schroders

3 - Franklin Templeton

4 - Jupiter

5 - Invesco
