Help For Children Appoints Schulte Roth & Zabel’s Peter Naismith to HFC Global Board

Help For Children has appointed Peter Naismith, a Partner at law firm Schulte Roth & Zabel, to the HFC Global Board of Directors.

“The addition of Peter to our Global Board, particularly during this challenging time, is essential to the health and growth of Help For Children and our efforts to protect vulnerable children,” said Dean Backer, Managing Director, Goldman Sachs, and President of the HFC Global Board. “With many of HFC’s fundraising events canceled because of the pandemic, it is critical that we have a vibrant and active board, and Peter brings new talents, expertise and energy to this dedicated group of Alternative Investment professionals.”

The appointment, which took place at a recent HFC Global Board meeting, represents the introduction of new ideas and guidance from Naismith, and will help broaden HFC’s access to donors within the finance community. His participation and commitment to HFC’s mission will help advance the foundation’s efforts to prevent and treat child maltreatment worldwide.

Schulte Roth & Zabel is HFC’s pro bono law firm and has provided legal advice on all matters for the charity since 2011.
