Blackstone AUM Up 18% To $439bn

Blackstone reported its second quarter 2018 earnings today, with total AUM coming in at $439bn, an increase of 18%. Its private equity division saw AUM increase to $119.5bn, a 20% increase on the previous year. Carrying value increased 9.5% in the quarter, driven by appreciation in publics and mark-ups in the private portfolio from announced sales, and increased 25.9% over the last twelve months. The firm reported strong results across its real estate, hedge fund solutions and credit divisions as well.
