eVestment Expands In Japan

Data and analytics firm eVestment, announced the hire of Hiroyuki Sendi as vice president of sales in Tokyo, Japan. His appointment marks an expansion of eVestment’s operations in Japan that will also include the addition of two more eVestment employees in sales-support roles. Those positions will be filled within the next three months.

“Japan is an important growth market for eVestment and we’re excited about the opportunities having Hiroyuki and his team in place in Japan will open up for our company,” said Hans Jiang, eVestment’s Head of Asia-Pacific region based in Hong Kong.

Senda joins eVestment with a wealth of experience in the investment business.

Most recently he served as a vice president with Amundi Asset Management in Tokyo. During his career with Amundi, Senda held a variety of sales, product and business development leadership positions with the company and its subsidiaries. His experience in the investment business also includes positions with Prudential Equity Group, Himawari Holdings and Fukuho Bank.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of Tsukuba.

  • eVestment has launched a global “client success” effort aimed at executing proactive and reactive efforts to understand what success means to each eVestment client and then deliver solutions tailored to address each client’s specific business challenges.
