PwP Announces Student Contest Winners
NYC-based charity Portfolios with Purpose has announced the winners of its third annual student challenge, sponsored by Citi. The competition was open to both high school and university students, and ran from October 2017 through April 2018.
The top 3 university students, their school and the charities they played for, are:
1st Place: Hrag Bedoyen, American University of Beirut, American Cancer Society
Bedoyen’s portfolio returned 112%.
2nd Place: Jen Sheng Wong, University of Michigan, Worldwide Orphan
Wong’s portfolio returned 93%.
3rd Place: Chloe Cheng, Boston College, World Wildlife Fund
Cheng’s portfolio returned 72.6%.
The top 3 high school students, their school and the charities they played for, are:
1st Place: Shivangi Patel, Academy for Information Technology, Relay for Life
Patel’s portfolio returned 41.40%.
2nd Place: Andrew Sullivan, Oak Ridge, Alzheimer’s Association
Sullivan’s portfolio returned 36.59%.
3rd Place: Thomas O’Koniewski, Kent School, Wounded Warrior Project
O’Koniewski’s portfolio returned 35.55%.
