ALTSO’s Rocktoberfest Series Raises $1m for Second Year in a Row

A Leg To Stand On's (ALTSO) annual Rocktoberfest fundraising concert series has raised over $1mn for the organisation for the second year in a row.

ALTSO provides children living with disabilities in emerging countries with life-changing mobility care. The Rocktoberfest events feature bands with ties to the asset and investment management industries and this year hosted thousands of dedicated advocates, 20+ bands, and 50+ leading financial institutions at events in New York and Chicago.

“Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our advocates, we will be able to serve more than 1,000 children next year, fitting them with the high-quality orthopedic care they need to access mobility and the transformative opportunities it offers. In addition to the new children we will welcome into our programs in 2025, the events’ success ensures we can provide continuous care to CoolKids," said Gabriella Mueller-Evrard, Executive Director at ALTSO.

ALTSO has a year end goal of raising an additional $100,000 to support a further 200 children with mobility care in the new year. ALTSO’s Board of Directors is matching donations, up to $10,000, to this endeavour.
