Cottonwood Technology Fund Coming Into Bloom

Dave Blivin, Founder and Managing Director of New Mexico-based Cottonwood Technology Fund, always wanted to name his fund after a tree. It’s a good analogy, especially given where the fund starts: as a seed-stage investor in hard science companies. Blivin would certainly like to see parallels between the cottonwood tree and his fund: cottonwood trees have an exceptional growth rate and provide timber producers with large amounts of wood after just 10 years.
